The Comedy Central Roast of James Franco

The Comedy Central Roast of James Franco taped last night at Culver Studios, with Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, Bill Hader, Nick Kroll, Sarah Silverman, Jeff Ross, Aziz Ansari, Andy Samberg, and more poking fun at our favorite dicknoser. The James Franco roast doesn’t air till next Monday at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central, but The Wrap was at last night’s taping and has relayed some of the best burns. We’ve collected our ten favorites to highlight here.

Seth Rogen on James Franco: “He once told me he worked for 36 hours straight, which I didn’t believe. The straight part, of course.”

Bill Hader on the Seth Rogen / Barbra Streisand movie The Guilt Trip: “If I wanted to watch two ugly Jews weaving through traffic I’d watch Seinfeld’s web series.”

Seth Rogen: “Judd Apatow was going to direct this but Comedy Central didn’t want it to be 40 minutes too long.”

Nick Kroll to James Franco: “Did you bone Anne Hathaway? Squint once if yes. If James opens his eyes tonight we get 6 more weeks of summer.”

Jeff Ross: “James Franco is half-Italian, half-asleep. He’s a disgrace to Italian actors. James Gandolfini must be trying to roll over in his grave.”
