Casting By (HBO, 9 p.m.) — Before checking out Casting By, which looks at the world of casting directors, you should read the AV Club’s interview with Allison Jones, who helped assemble the talent for Boy Meets World, Arrested Development, Freaks and Geeks, The Office, and others. Maybe she can introduce you to Franklin?
Under the Dome (CBS, 10 p.m.) — A baby’s arrival coincides with a death. Dom’h! (That did not work.)
The Writers’ Room (Sundance, 10 p.m.) — Tonight’s episode takes us inside the Parks and Recreation genius factory where Perd Hapley was first conceived. History.
