Treat Yo’ Self To The 10 Best GIFs From Last Night’s ‘Parks And Recreation’

“The Wall” was a good episode held together by great moments. Ron talking like a baby to his, well, baby; Andy shielding April with his hoodie; Jamm commenting to no one that he’s going to send a video of a bee attack to Tosh; Jerry being stunned by Leslie’s falling banner. None of these scenes defined “The Wall,” but they made it an an enjoyable enough watch. I think the reason I’m a little down on the episode is because, as we’ve noted before, Parks has increasingly spun in place of late, and I would have fully supported Leslie’s decision to move to Chicago. Now, obviously, this isn’t going to happen, at least not yet. Leslie is the show’s main character; to move her away from the Ron, April, and Andy would…it’s not even worth going through the hypothetical scenarios, because again, Leslie ain’t going anywhere.

So it feels like a cruel tease that she has a chance to get out, but doesn’t take it (for now). If Parks was ending in May, that’s one thing. But we know it’s going to be on for another season, so more likely than not, the dangling waffle that is Chicago is always going to be teasingly out of reach, even if Leslie is starving.
