What’s On Tonight: Flying Sharks, Duplicitous Lawyers, Humping Kangaroos, Etc.

Sharknado 2: The Second One (Syfy, 9:00 p.m.) – Pretty much everything that needs to be said about the sequel to last summer’s shark-based phenomenon has already been said, so in lieu of further analysis allow me to point out that the teaser video above features Kelly Ripa stomping a shark to death with her high heel. Soooo spoilers?

Suits (USA, 9:00 p.m.) – It would be great if one of the characters on Suits, which is also set in Manhattan, gets eaten by a flying shark tonight. No one would see it coming.

Who Do You Think You Are? (TLC, 9:00 p.m.) – Jesse Tyler Ferguson from Modern Family finds out that his great-grandfather was a hustler. Claire is gonna be so peeved.

The Bridge (FX, 10:00 p.m.) – From TV Guide: “Marco gains a new ally. Meanwhile, Charlotte and Ray discuss their future.” I fully expect Marco’s new ally to be a knife-wielding murder junkie or something, because Jesus Pete The Bridge is unrelentingly intense this season.

Sex in the Wild (PBS, 10:00 p.m.) – Tonight’s episode focuses on marsupials, including kangaroos and koalas. It features “the gravity-defying mating of koalas, a baby kangaroo’s first steps, and a fostering program for rock wallabies.” This is a good show. I haven’t seen a single episode, but I stand by that.

LATE NIGHT GUESTS: Eric McCormack and Rosario Dawson on Kimmel; Zoe Saldana on Letterman; Heidi Klum and Mike Birbiglia on Fallon; Chris Pratt and Laverne Cox on Meyers; Maggie Gyllenhaal on Stewart; and James Franco on Colbert.
