It was only this week that we found out Walter White himself, Bryan Cranston, would be reading the audiobook for Adam Mansbach’s You Have to F*cking Eat, and now we already have our first teaser clip. Yup, that is definitely Bryan Cranston, and he is definitely swearing at that unruly animated child. The story checks out. I’m glad we settled that.
Anyway, as we saw/heard when Samuel L. Jackson narrated Mansbach’s previous book, Go the F*ck to Sleep, there is something almost menacing — like, good menacing, if that’s thing — about hearing a voice you associate mostly with violence and destruction read a children’s book. Even if it is a profane one. At least he didn’t threaten to send the kid to Belize. That would’ve been awkward.
