Hot on the heels of Jon Stewart’s final Daily Show episode, CBS has premiered a brand new trailer for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Starting today, the above video will be shown in movie theaters across the country. It’s been almost nine whole months since Stephen Colbert departed The Colbert Report, and he’s pulling out all the non-3D stops to get moviegoers to tune into his new series.
What will we expect once Colbert takes over for David Letterman? Well, I mean, aside from George Clooney? Kittens and dragons, obviously.
The above trailer can currently be seen in AMC, Regal and Cinemark theaters, as well as a handful of smaller chains across the country. The Late Show with Stephen Colbert will premiere on CBS on September 8.
