The Tonight Show is often at its best when Jimmy Fallon allows The Roots to assist with a bit. In this particular sketch, titled Freestylin’ with The Roots, the band was asked to make up a song about audience members on the spot. A concert goer, would-be presidential nominee and an action hero each got a freestyled song in their honor. It’s like an improv show with the band behind Illadelph Halflife providing the comedy.
