We’ve had our fun with The White House Correspondents’ Dinner, because how can you not get behind Joel McHale political roasts and JLD & Biden hangout sessions? But when you really get to think about it the whole thing is completely ridiculous, and John Oliver’s Sunday night timeslot put him in perfect position to put “Nerd Prom” into succinct perspective, all without undermining — or even touching on — the performance of his Community colleague.
And for those who watched the whole show last night, I also have no idea why they cut off the Wolf Blitzer bit at the end because that was fantastic.
