Adam Jensen has always been a total cyborg badass, but apparently he’s going to be getting some major upgrades in the upcoming Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.
The latest trailer for Mankind Divided focuses squarely on Jensen and some of his new abilities. These include a new energy-based shield that can be used to send enemies that dare get too close flying, rad electrified fist spikes, and — just in case you’re one of those non-violent goobers who likes to play stealthily — some sort of new nano-particle camouflage. The new gear all looks pretty creative, and the game is certainly looking impressive. Not quite as detailed as some other games, but nicely stylized. Oh, and I haven’t even mentioned Adam’s more-manicured-than-ever beard. Is that thing real? Or is it just another augment? Whatever the answer is, there’s no denying it’s a thing of beauty.
So, what are your thoughts on Deus Ex: Mankind Divided? The last Deus Ex game was unexpectedly great, but I’ve seen a surprising lack of hype for Mankind Divided. Has this demo of some of Adam’s new wonderful toys upped your anticipation a bit? Deus Ex: Mankind Divided sneaks its way into stores February 23, 2016.
