What I love about Brian Williams making a joke at the expense of horny politicians is that he's not actually trying to be funny. He's trying to beat late night comedy stars to the punch and make the most obvious joke possible before they do. Because Williams delivers the above joke with deadpan confidence — and because it's surprising hearing such a joke come from him on the news — it's suddenly funny for real. Good work, sir.
