Ever since Rich Cronin professed that he liked “girls that wear Abercrombie & Fitch,” nothing has gone right for the favorite clothing line of guys who don’t wear shirts under their hoodies everywhere. CEO Mike Jeffries, who looks like Ron Perlman carved out of stone by a blind man, told fat people they shouldn’t wear his clothes (the Internet had something to say about that), they sold a confusing Taylor Swift-shaming shirt, and Rich Cronin died.
But back to that second point. According to People:
After a T-shirt with the slogan “# more boyfriends than t.s.” (seemingly poking fun at the singer’s tumultuous love life) hit stores, Swift’s loyal army of followers were quick to express their disappointment.
So quick that the retailer already pulled the controversial top from its shelves nationwide.
And if you’re a Swift fan calling to try to voice your disgust, you’ll immediately get a message addressing the subject. “If you are calling regarding the Taylor Swift T-shirt, please note that this item is no longer available,” the recording, via Oh No They Didn’t, says. (Via)
The lesson learned here is, hashtags don’t include periods and spaces. Also, Abercrombie killed Rich Cronin.
