Beirut Are Back With Their First New Album In Four Years

Beirut, the perfect crisp October band (or November, if you live in the south), have announced a September 11 release date for their next album, No No No, the group’s first since 2011’s excellent The Rip Tide. The delay between records was due to a physical and mental breakdown lead singer Zach Condon had in 2013. He got divorced and was admitted into an Australian hospital, and “for the first time in my life,” he wrote in a press release, “I was facing extreme self doubt.” He’s better now, though, and there’s a “caffeinated exuberance” to No No No.
