The Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl continues his streak of being one of the nicest guys on the planet. Grohl has a history of making fans’ dreams come true by inviting them onstage to sing. This time, Grohl went a step further by turning over an instrument to an eager fan, who outright asked for the privilege.
While perched upon his oxy-inspired throne of guitars, Grohl spotted Anthony Bifolchi holding up an “It’s my birthday, can I play drums?” sign. The rock god was all too happy to indulge the fan, but Grohl warned, “If you suck on the drums, I will personally tar and feather your *ss, now get on those drums right now … I sure as hell hope this motherf*cker doesn’t suck. Do you know Foo Fighter’s songs?” No pressure at all.
Not only did Bifolchi know how to play Foo Fighter songs, but he pounded out a worthy rendition of “Big Me.” He delivered the goods and had the best birthday ever.
