Donald Trump‘s eldest three children — Eric, Ivanka, and Donald Jr. — were raised on the East Coast and groomed for a life of real estate and continuing to expand the family brand. But their half-sister Tiffany — whose mother is The Donald’s second ex-wife, Marla Maples — grew up across the country, attending school in the wealthy Los Angeles suburb of Calabasas.
It was on the sunny West Coast in 2011 where she dropped a now-resurfaced dance track called “Like a Bird,” which is available on Amazon, iTunes, and the like. A month later, Rebecca Black released her video for “Friday,” which seemed to have eclipsed the young Trump’s attempt at becoming a notoriously bad, yet still somehow famous singer. The song which is a collaboration with Sprite and Logic (but not that Logic), features over-the-top autotune and some bewildering lyrics like, “Diamonds are so shimmery/ special things uncover me” and …”Everybody’s partying/ obsessing over crazy things/ I just want serenity/ while living it up.”
Tiffany, who was raised mostly by her mother, is now 22 with an Ivy League degree (she majored in sociology with a concentration in law and urban studies) and has reunited with her father and her siblings on the trail of his rapidly unraveling presidential campaign. The heiress is also a fashion model and an Instagram celebrity, so with all that in mind, it’s uncertain whether she’ll get back to music anytime soon. Although, a confessional dance hit about what it’s really like to be in a weird and universally hated family like that might actually be something people would want to hear. But, probably not.
