As we all know Justin Timberlake and Timbaland are one of music’s most dynamic combinations — we recently wrote about some of Timbaland’s most important songs and, of course, some Timberlake tracks were included. So whenever there’s any type of evidence showing the two working together in a studio, you can only hope that this means we’re getting something new from them in the foreseeable future.
Well, Timberlake recently posted a picture of himself and Timbaland in the studio together on his Instagram, making us all wonder: What’s the new music going to be for? One guess is that it’s for the Trolls soundtrack, which Timberlake is not only starring in, but is also serving as the musical executive producer, too.
Or it could be that the two are finally working on that country album they expressed interest in late last year. Regardless, if this is all for Trolls, then we can expect the movie to have one of the most fire soundtracks of all time (especially considering that Pharrell might be a part of it all, too). But here’s hoping that all of these studio photos (including one with country stars Little Big Town) are for that long-awaited fourth studio album. Enough with the all the teasing, Justin.
