Kodak Black’s never-ending legal troubles have come to another crossroads on Wednesday as the troubled rapper was found guilty of “five counts of willfully and substantially violating his house arrest” according to South Florida Sun-Sentinel reporter Brett Clarkson.

The violations stem from a string of incidents including a trip to a strip club that resulted in allegations that he assaulted a female bartender. Last week a witness testified that she did not see any assault by the rapper, and in fact it was the bartender that assaulted Kodak by grabbing his genitals.
Kodak has been in jail since he was arrested back in February for violating his probation from a 2016 case where he was charged with strong arm robbery, false imprisonment, possession of a firearm by a delinquent and fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement, and ultimately sentenced to five years probation. He violated that probation by attending various events outside of his home including the strip club visit and an Adrien Broner fight in Cincinnati back in February.
He also violated his probation by failing to complete his anger management classes after he was kicked out of a session for burping excessively, then he allegedly grabbed the counselor to prevent her from calling 911 after he refused to leave.
Despite being found guilty, the journey is not over for Kodak as he was not sentenced today. He will appear back in court May 4th to proceed. With the time he has served it is possible that he may not receive any additional jail time, according to Clarkson that will be decided by the judge.
