When you think about Nirvana’s 1993 MTV Unplugged performance, certain things are sure to come to mind; the tense poignancy of the entire concert, Nirvana’s music bare in a way that we’d never heard before, the setup of the stage, and, of course, frontman Kurt Cobain himself, dawning a guitar and a noticeable cardigan that remained on the singer throughout the show.

Now, that cardigan (as well as other music memorabilia) will be going up for auction on November 7 through Julien’s Live, Rolling Stone reports. The item, described as “a blend of acrylic, mohair and Lycra with five-button closure (one button absent), with two exterior pockets, a burn hole and discoloration near left pocket and discoloration on right pocket,” is expected to be sold for anywhere between $40,000 and $60,000.

A lock of Cobain’s hair is also being offered for $4,000. The hair was given to doll maker Dame Darcy from Cobain’s widow Courtney Love, when Love commissioned Darcy to make a doll for her daughter, Frances Bean.

Other items up for bid include: Ringo Starr’s kickdrum head from The Beatles’ Ed Sullivan Show performance, and Steven Tyler’s insurance card.
