‘Sesame Street’ Is Ready To ‘Regulate’ As Bert And Ernie Rap Warren G And Nate Dogg

It’s time for The Muppets to mount up! At least the kid-friendly Muppets from Sesame Street. In the latest mashup of classic hip hop and the puppet hijinks, the fine folks over at isthishowyougoviral manage to take Warren G and Nate Dogg’s classic “Regulate” and give it to Bert and Ernie. Everybody’s favorite Sesame Street power couple proved to be the perfect choice for this particular song choice, but it wasn’t exactly an easy one to make according to the description:

Bert and Ernie of Sesame Street perform the Warren G and Nate Dogg classic, “Regulate”. This song honestly ended up being just a tough as my last one (Crossroads), if not tougher. I almost bailed on it several times, but it was the most requested in the comments, and another one of the best rap songs ever, so I felt as if I had to give the people what they wanted.

Not sure where these go from here, but there is still plenty of classic hip hop to choose from. It’s hard to top “Crossroads,” but I think I’ll go with Warren G for the Michael McDonald influence alone. Yeah, Bone Thugs is fine and all, but they didn’t have a Yacht Rock episode revolving around them.
