Does beef sell records? Ask The Game. For over a decade, the Compton rapper has been earned a reputation as one of Hip-Hop’s most outspoken rappers and continues gaining publicity by throwing shots at foes, whether they truly deserve his fury or not. However, the difference between many other rappers and Game is that he actually disses people on wax. Without hesitation, actually.
To highlight Game’s penchant for flexing verbally, we’ve collected the key diss records from his catalog. Grab some popcorn, because this guy’s got quite a track record.
“Bleek Is”
Target: Memphis Bleek
Back when Game rapped like Shyne and hung with JT The Bigga Figga, he went at Memphis Bleek on wax over beef that stemmed from them both having the same label name – Get Low Records. Game eventually ending up forming Black Wallstreet records, so we can safely assume he lost the battle, but still won the war.
“I Got A Mill On It”
Target: Yukmouth
As Game settled in on G-Unit, the fiery energy from their various feuds must have put a battery in his back, because he was ready and willing to go at anyone to prove he could buck. One of his first victims was Yukmouth, a member of The Luniz and veteran Bay Area boss, who Jayceon proceeded to verbally assault over his foe’s famous “I Got Five On It” beat.
“Buddens”
Target: Joe Budden
When they were both rising through the ranks earlier in their career, Game went at Joe Budden, after a mixtape DJ put one of his verses on a song where Joe slighted G-Unit. Game released “Buddens” as a result, which warranted “Game Over” from Joey and eventually more scathing bars on “200 Bars N Runnin.” Surprisingly, the two hard heads eventually made up and did songs together.
“300 Bars N Runnin”
Targets: 50 Cent, Young Buck, Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo, Olivia
Once Game got ousted from G-Unit, he made destroying 50’s crew his main mission in life. For years, Game relentlessly went after them every chance he could on wax, releasing entire tapes dedicated to dissing Curtis, Banks, Buck and Yayo. The first and most impressive diss came from Game’s classic YouKnowWhatItIs Vols. 3 mixtape in the form of “300 Bars,” an epic fourteen-minute long diss that combined numerous instrumentals into one track and gave Jayceon more than enough airtime to annihilate his former crew.
“Ghost Unit”

Targets: 50 Cent, Young Buck, Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo, Olivia
To show he was serious, Game followed up YouKnowWhatItIs Vol. 3 almost immediately with Ghost Unit, a tape that featured Chuck throwing Fif under the bus over the Ghostbusters theme song.
“Palm Pilot”
Target: Young Gunz
Only Game has a diss song alongside Katt Williams. After former Roc-A-Fella duo Young Gunz slighted Williams’ fictional Money Mike character, Katt called Game and the two proceeded to take the Gunz’ style and use it against them. The worst part for Chris and Neefy is that Katt actually killed them with his verse, even if Game probably wrote it.
“120 Bars”

Target: 50 Cent
The third installment in Game’s series of his 50 Cent defamation campaign was Stop Snitchin, Stop Lyin – a joint mixtape and DVD release that was so popular the project went platinum and DVD went gold, respectively. DJ Clue intros “120 Bars” by saying this is the last diss track from Game, as the CPT rebel proceeds to go in over “Hustler’s Ambition,” claiming victory and happily rubbing it in.
“100 Bars (The Funeral)”
Targets: 50 Cent, 40 Glocc, and Spider Loc
When a song is subtitled “The Funeral,” that’s never a good sign for whoever it’s dedicated to. In this case, Game was going at a handful of folks, including arch-rival 50 Cent and his favorite legal foe 40 Glocc, who he notoriously fought on camera. Former Death Row affiliate loose G-Unit member Spider Loc also caught words.
“I’m So Wavy”
Target: Jay Z
Game has been sending not-so-subliminal shots at Jay Z for almost his entire career. On “I’m So Wavy” from 2009, Chuck Taylor went a little more directly at the Roc Nation CEO, taking shots at the throne without hesitation. Jay has still never truly responded.
“400 Bars”
Targets: 50 Cent and G-Unit
If any song should tell fans beef sells, it’s “400 Bars.” Game said publicly he was done feuding with 50 multiple times publicly, yet still decided to take jabs at G-Unit on this track from his 2010 mixtape Red Room. He’s either well aware his career relies on animosity or simply can’t help himself. Probably both, actually.
“Bigger Than Me”
Target: 2014 XXL Freshman Class
Who else would diss an entire XXL Freshman class than Game? No one. Although he doesn’t call anyone out by name, the entire 2014 group felt his wrath on his chainsaw-wielding loosie. Essentially, he was simply raising the bar, which is admirable.
“ChiRaq To LA”
Targets: Lil Durk, 40 Glocc
When Tyga got in over his head with Lil Durk, Game gave his lil’ homie jumped at the opportunity to lend some backup. On “Chiraq To LA,” the two Cali rappers went in over Nikki Minaj’s “Chiraq” beat, with Game getting extra aggressive and also sending shots at 40 Glocc along the way.
“92 Bars”

Target: Meek Mill
The latest in Game’s “Bars” series was this scathing diss towards Meek Mill. Aside from Game’s relationship with Drake and his itchy trigger finger, no one’s really sure where the animosity came from. Either way, “92 Bars” drew plenty of buzz as anticipated, even earning a response from Meek and Beans. Don’t expect this one to die down any time soon.
