We’re only eight days away from one of the most talked-about albums of the year and the hype is out of this world. Kanye West has taken a throwback word of mouth approach to his new album, Yeezus as he hasn’t released any singles ahead of time and relies on viral videos and an SNL performance. So really, there isn’t a true glimpse into what the album actually sounds like.
That changes slightly here as we get some more visuals and we finally get to hear his sure-to-be-controversial “I Am God.” We get a high-octance EDM approach here, but the album version may sound totally different.
I’ll just say this: it’s good that some actual videos popped up as all the Vines giving us six grainy incoherent seconds only annoyed me every time I clicked. Seriously, you guys are ruining the concept. I hope everyone who posted a Vine with the title “NEW KANYE SONG” runs eyeball first into a Stop sign and your baby momma has to console you.
