I don’t know if such a thing as “fire porn” exists, and I’m not about to Google the term to find out (despite Internet Rule 34), but if there is “fire porn,” than this is it. YouTube channel HTD has gone wild this week, uploading multiple fire dominoes that will brighten your smile with the dancing flames of thousands of matches. Yes, if you’re into some hardcore phosphorus reacting with the potassium chlorate at the head of a matchstick, this channel is for you. Our parents always said not to play with matches, but this is science, or art, or just away to get some decent YouTube hits. Maybe all three.
While it’s obvious to say that this should only be done in a controlled environment with people you trust, it seems like these aficionados of minor arson have a handle on these fire dominoes and can harness their power appropriately. Check out this video from a few days ago.
That’s interesting and cool, but it just doesn’t add up to the heat of a 4K experiment. Let alone a 6K. C’mon. Good effort though.
Oh, and were there 6000 matches on that plate or 5999 with match number 6000 being the match that lit the dominoes? Were 6001 matches lit up? I must know the truth?!
