The Los Angeles Times recently exposed a new “troubling trend in teens” that the rest of the old media naturally latched on to because they just can’t help themselves: moronic teens drinking hand sanitizer to get drunk. BTW, this “trend” consisted of six idiot teenagers who’d been hospitalized in the San Fernando Valley area.
Although there have been only a handful of cases, (toxicologist Cyrus) Rangan said the practice could easily become a larger problem. Bottles of hand sanitizer are inexpensive and accessible, and teenagers can find distillation instructions on the Internet.
“It is kind of scary that they go to that extent to get a shot of essentially hard liquor,” Rangan said.
Oh you don’t say! And I wonder how something like this could possibly become a “larger problem?” Perhaps having the national media report on it so that other idiot teenagers have the stupid seed planted in their brains as well?
