It’s a given that whenever Rex and Rob Ryan get together that hilarity will ensue and hookers will need a ride home. Every once ion a while, the NFL schedulers bless us with an opportunity for the Ryan brothers to meet on opposite sidelines. The last time that happened, it was A memorable encounter happened back in 2010, when Rex’s Jets took on the Browns, who then employed Rob as their defensive coordinator. Rex marked the occasion by donning a Browns jacket and a wig at a press conference to have a little fun with his brother.
Three years and two teams later (for Rob), the Jets and the Saints meet on Sunday in MetLife Stadium. It’s already not a bad matchup, but it’s made all the better by being the latest on-field reunion between the Ryan brothers. We’re still four days until kickoff and the brotherly shit-talking has already begun with Rex showing up at a press conference with a sign poking fun at Rob’s appearance.
The best Ryan brother prank since Rex claimed Rob broke down in tears when Sean Lee was lost for the season last year. No doubt there are more to come.
