Lauren Birney from Perth, Western Australia, shares her home with her three dogs, Beerus, Lou Lou, and Cyrus; the latter of whom is a 2-year-old Bullmastiff who watches her every waking moment. As a result, Birney started taking photos of her dog stalking her, and Cyrus has now become something of an internet celebrity thanks to his creepy creeper ways.
But don’t be fooled by Cyrus and his melancholy face with dark eyes that seemingly bore into your soul. Rather, Cyrus happens to be a mild-mannered and “lovable beast” who really just wants to know what his owner is up to… all of the time, as Birney explains.
“I have this theory that he constantly stares at me and creeps on me because he just likes to know where I am and what I am doing all the time!” Birney told Bored Panda. “Sometimes I have no idea that he is creeping on me until I get up off a seat or look around the room and find he will be standing behind an object with his head sticking out staring at me.
When he’s not creeping, Cyrus donates life-saving blood to Perth’s WAVES emergency vet for other dogs in need. But speaking of creeping, here’s Cyrus doing some of his best work, which you can follow on Birney’s CyrusAndFriends Instagram account:
