Coming off of a holiday weekend, it can be hard to get up the motivation to get back into the swing of things. Rolling out of bed to your too early alarm and falling into the rush hour formation was downright torturous. That weekend haze of beer and barbecue is difficult to shake on the first day back at work, but this lab puppy and his favorite BB-8 toy are here to make things a little less painful.
The premise is simple. Throw together an inquisitive puppy and one Sphero BB-8 together, and let the magic happen. When faced with an intruder in her home, Uva the lab reacts as most pups would: Curiosity, then horror, before finally deciding that this uppity little robot wasn’t going to boss her around. In the battle between fur and gears, fur wins by a long shot this time. It’s a bloodless decapitation, but Uva gets her revenge on BB-8 in a very resolute manner.
Whether or not you were a fan of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the consensus about BB-8 was pretty unanimous: That droid is the most adorable thing in the galaxy. Add in a puppy, and you’ve got a dangerously potent level of cuteness.
