I don’t really agree with Iowa Republican Senator Chuck Grassley very much, but I have to give him credit for one thing: his Twitter account is probably the most unintentionally entertaining and hilarious of any American politician. Sure, it’s consistently riddled with misspellings and 3rd grade grammar skills, but what’s not to love about an almost 80 year-old power broker bitching in broken English about the History Channel not airing enough shows about history?
When he’s not bitching about the History Channel, Grassley will often use Twitter to bitch about President Obama’s socialist policies, as he did over the weekend when he caused a bit of a stir with the tweet at top in which he flat-out called the president stupid.
In a recent interview about his tweeting habits, Grassley let it be known that he will not allow any staffer to tweet for him: “I do the Tweets myself. My Tweets are authentic, and Iowans know it’s me when they read my posts.”
Oh, don’t you worry, Senator Grassley. Everyone knows it’s you who’s tweeting. Don’t you worry…
