LEGOLAND California Used Half A Million LEGO Bricks To Build The Death Star

Back in March, the LEGOLAND theme park in Carlsbad, California revealed a new Star Wars project they had been working on. The result? A giant model of the Death Star is now featured at the Southern California location. The model is made up of roughly 500,000 LEGO bricks and is the newest addition to the park’s Star Wars Miniland exhibit.

How big is the model? The LEGO Death Star stands at eight feet wide, 13 feet tall, and weighs about 1,900 pounds. If that wasn’t enough, it features a giant green laser and some the films’ iconic  scenes.

Disney News from Stitch Kingdom released the below video back in February, which shows the LEGO construction of Darth Vader’s infamous space station.
