Your Heart Can’t Handle This Rescue Kitten Zooming Around In A Lego Wheelchair

Who needs the Kentucky Derby when there’s already a speedy animal dynamo that’s ready to reign as the champion of your heart? Well, degenerate gamblers and mint julep enthusiasts still do, but there’s an alternative for us non-Derby types.

That furry lil’ dude up top is Mac. Not to be confused with the former Canadian convenience store magnate, this kitten is currently giving people visiting the Massapequa Pet Vet’s Facebook page all the feels. Maximum feels. Mac is a rescue cat that was abandoned by its mom and brought in to the Long Island facility by a Good Samaritan. Mac was also unable to walk, so technicians “went digging through old toys” and set this scrappy fella up with a Lego wheelchair. As you can see in the clip nestled at the top of this post, Mac’s new accessory has given him an extra burst of speed.

Naturally, video of Mac trekking about in his Lego wheelchair has been a smash online. Since going up on Facebook on May 4, the clip has amassed an impressive 809,000 views and growing. It’s not hard to see why. The video is a nice blend of ingenuity, perseverance, and pretty dang cute kitten. Bring on the obligatory selfie!

According to Massapequa Pet Vet, Mac has feeling in his hind end and that’s definitely a good thing. They hope to rehab this fast feline and eventually find him a good home. It’s hard to imagine there not being any takers.
