Please, Go Ahead, Take A Moment To Dream About Paris In The Winter

Do you think about Paris a lot? I think about Paris a lot. I was thinking about Paris earlier today. I thought about Paris last night, too. At present, there are two books about Paris I recently bought that are sitting on my coffee table, waiting for me to read. This one and this one. The other day I went for a walk and I listened to this Friendly Fires song about living in Paris and its remix on repeat for like an hour. I want to go to Paris. I’d go right now if I could. I feel like my soul could use an infusion of Paris. Perhaps yours could too? We could all use a little more Paris in our lives, I think.

With that said, here’s a beautiful little video from filmmaker Andrew Julian. He shot the film on a digital Blackmagic Cinema Camera during a recent trip to France and it really captures the still beauty of Paris in the winter, when the summer tourists and the crowds they bring are long gone and all that’s left are the locals. It’s quite beautiful and I think you’ll enjoy it.
