The LEGO game franchise does an excellent job of taking beloved movies and series and distilling them down to a funny, all-ages friendly essence. And the new trailer for LEGO Jurassic World shows they’re at it again.
Mostly it’s about riffing on the franchise; one particular moment gets an amusing twist and nod, and it’s actually pretty funny to see the entire cast and iconic moments of the series rendered in CGI LEGO. We don’t see much gameplay, but then again, we all know it’s going to be about platforming, stud collecting, and perhaps a few other ideas to keep things fresh.
Besides, when you’ve got a LEGO T-Rex chasing you, you’re too busy to worry about gameplay footage. LEGO Jurassic World is coming in June.
