As you may be aware, President Obama is currently doing a tour of Alaska, where he filmed an episode of Running Wild with Bear Grylls (who he also took a presidential selfie with) in an effort to raise awareness to climate change. In addition to filming the episode, Obama has also been making appearances around Alaska, and it was on Wednesday during his trip that the president stopped to spend some time with fishers at Kanakanak Beach in Dillingham.
I should mention that it’s currently spawning season for Alaskan salmon because, while handling one of the fish caught in the nets, the President of the United States took a money shot from a horny salmon all over his shoes.
“Did you see that? Something got on my shoes,” Obama called to the press. “He was spawning a little bit, which, generally, you don’t want fish spawning on your feet.”
“He was happy to see me,” Obama added.
President Obama! That’s the kind of talk we’ve come to expect from Joe Biden, not from the Commander-in-Chief. Although he makes an excellent point, even after nearly eight years in office, Obama can still get it. Even the fish know.
