2016 Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz wants you to know just how much fun he can bring to the White House. On Monday afternoon, the Texas Senator released a sizzling new video — courtesy of IJ Review — showing off a wacky new method for cooking bacon.
There’s no stove top, conventional or microwave oven present in this video. Nope, it’s straight up cowboy time as Mr. Cruz shows us how it’s done Texas-style…by using a machine gun:
“Few things I enjoy more than on weekends cooking breakfast with the family. Of course in Texas, we cook bacon a little differently than most folks.”
After making this statement, the Republican candidate wrapped a few pieces of bacon around the nozzle of his semi-automatic weapon of choice before firing off a few rounds. Once the grease is seen on the firing range floor, Cruz deemed it breakfast time and approvingly peeled off a piece of meat for a taste test.
Hey you know what? Good for you, Ted Cruz. With Donald Trump still leading the polls as the current Republican frontrunner, some candidates must resort to Idiocracy-style measures in order to gain some much needed traction.
