Yesterday a few of the Miami Heat players were fitted for their 2013 NBA Championship rings at American Airlines Arena in Miami. Shane Battier continued a trend from last season’s ring fitting. He decided to duplicate the middle finger bling on his other hand.
After getting his middle finger fitted for the Heat’s 2012 NBA Championship ring, Battier decided to get his other middle finger fitted for this year’s ring. That’s two NBA Championship rings adorning Shane’s two middle fingers. Battier is a smart guy, so the symbolism is not lost on him.

We can’t wait for him to show it off during the ring ceremony before the Heat’s season opener in Miami on October 29 against the Bulls. The TNT cameras will might have to blur Battier’s ring.
