Jimmy Butler Leaves Bulls’ Matchup With Clippers After Suffering Elbow Sprain

UPDATE: ABC’s Mike Breen and multiple outlets are reporting that Butler is done for the day.

PREVIOUSLY: The Chicago Bulls’ injury concerns just won’t stop piling up. Just days after the team lost Derrick Rose to a torn meniscus and Taj Gibson to a sprained ankle, Jimmy Butler left Chicago’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers in the third quarter with an elbow sprain.

The first-time All-Star suffered the injury while fighting through a screen set by DeAndre Jordan.

Butler went to the locker room for additional evaluation after several minutes on the bench. He’s currently listed as questionable to return.

Chicago and Los Angeles are tied at 69-69 going into the fourth quarter.
