Diehard Lakers fan and Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine made a play for LaMarcus Aldridge just as free agency began. The superstar forward is being wooed by several teams, but it appears the Lakers and Rockets are getting the first cracks at him.
In fact, according to the Lakers Twitter account, GM Mitch Kupchak met with Aldridge at 12:01 EST.

Aldridge isn’t the only big man the Lakers are making a play for. According to several sources, including the always-in-the-know Adrian Wojnarowski, Showtime is making room for the Clippers’ DeAndre Jordan.
