Rudy Gobert Calls Out USA Basketball On Twitter For Omitting Derrick Favors

The U.S. basketball men’s national team is beginning minicamp in Vegas for the 2016 Olympics soon. On Friday, the NBA tweeted out the 34 players who will be attending said camp.

Jazz center Rudy Gobert took exception to the list, seeing as teammate Derrick Favors wasn’t on it:

Of course, the 12-man team that will eventually make up the roster will be loaded and Favors probably would be a terrific underdog to snatch a place. But there is a point to be made that Favors, who averaged 16 points and 8.2 rebounds per game this past season, should at least get a shot.

At the very least, you can’t fault Gobert for saying his teammate didn’t…

…get any favors.
