Ayesha Curry Tweets Then Deletes Conspiracy Claim The NBA Finals Were ‘Rigged’

Ayesha Curry had a rough Thursday evening in Cleveland for Game 6 of the NBA Finals. First she was having trouble getting into the arena, apparently due to Cavaliers staff holding her and the rest of the Warriors’ families up. Eventually, she got in, but her night didn’t get much better as her husband Steph Curry battled foul trouble all evening and eventually fouled out for the first time this season. To add insult to injury Steph was also ejected for the first time in his career after throwing his mouthguard into the crowd after he was called for his sixth foul. Ayesha did finally get into the building and she was not happy about how the refs called the game. (She later deleted the tweet, but here’s a screen capture).

Later, Ayesha claimed that her father had been asked to remove his credentials because of his race, and apologized for her earlier tweet.

Things went south for the Warriors, quick. Just a few days ago, they were up 3-1 and had seemingly locked the series up. Now their MVP is fouling out and the normally reserved Ayesha Curry is lashing out at the NBA by making conspiracy claims when the Cavs tied the series up in Cleveland.

Steph fouled out but four of his fouls were clear and a couple were silly. Team fouls for each team were tied, 25-25, and free throws were close enough 32-29.

Really, Ayesha has LeBron James to blame as he had another virtuoso performance, scoring 41 points, grabbing eight rebounds and dishing out 11 assists. At one point, LeBron scored 18 straight points, and he scored or assisted on 27 straight as the Cavs forced a Game 7 for the championship this Sunday in Oakland.

One thing we do know, Ayesha will get into the arena well before the tip on Sunday.

*UPDATE: She’s not stopping
