Craig Sager‘s interviewed countless people during his prolific journalism career. In fact, getting the Sager interview is a sign of “making it” as a player — you know you’re finally good enough to get questioned by the top people of the profession. Fred Hoiberg, as a player, never had that opportunity, because, well, he was never an elite player. It’s a nice bit of fun Hoiberg pokes at himself during this otherwise heartfelt, touching interview with Sager, in which he calls Sager an inspiration to everybody.
