DeMar DeRozan Dunked All Over Someone And It Left Kevin Durant Amazed

It was another day for USA Basketball during its series of exhibitions leading up to the Rio Olympics. Monday’s game against Nigeria was the final one that the Yanks will play before they head down to Brazil and try to roll through everyone en route to a gold medal. Like usual, the Americans trucked their opponents, as they walked out of Houston with a 110-66 win and a 5-0 record in their tune-up games.

Six American players scored in double-digits, led by Carmelo Anthony, who had 19 points. DeMar DeRozan also had a pretty solid game, going for 13 points on 5-for-7 shooting, and oh yeah, he briefly made Kevin Durant look up to the heavens and pray for the guy that he dunked on.

During the second quarter, DeRozan got the ball in the corner, dribbled a few times, and took off. Some poor Nigerian defender got in DeRozan’s way, so he decided to use his left arm to create some separation while he cocked his right arm back and violently threw down.

The best part of this dunk was Durant, who called for the ball because he was wide open on the wing, but once DeRozan dunked, he looked straight up and froze for a second. I mean, come on, DeRozan just did something vicious, you can’t blame Durant for wanting to hold a moment of silence for the guy that is going to end up on a poster.
