Kevin Garnett Wants To Make Sure You See The Guy Wearing His Shirsey On ‘The Price Is Right’

It’s always great when a really famous athlete does something that any person can relate to. Then again, the opposite is true, as I don’t think everyone laughs at Tom Brady’s windowless, sheet-less bed in a potential sex dungeon even though it’s not relatable, but let’s focus on the more down-to-earth Kevin Garnett for a second.

Like many people who are home in the mornings, it appears as though Garnett watches The Price Is Right. Maybe he texts or IMs with a friend when it’s time to bid on showcases.

“You take the trip to Japan; I’ll take the pickup truck.”

One thing he does for sure is shoot videos off his TV, but unlike us, he spotted someone wearing his Boston Celtics t-shirt jersey (a.k.a. “shirsey”) and seemed to get a kick out of it.

It’s sort of neat that despite being in the NBA for as long as Garnett has been, he’s still surprised enough by seeing someone wearing his shirsey that he’s willing to rewind the TV, take out his phone and upload a video to Instagram. I’ve done the same thing, but it’s usually because a woman fell over while spinning the wheel, or this:

Kevin, if you ever want to have a Showcase Showdown battle on Twitter, look me up.
