The Cleveland Cavaliers have been the NBA’s embodiment of Murphy’s law this season, as everything that can go wrong has gone wrong for the three-time defending conference champions. Whether it’s injuries, chemistry issues, or one of about a hundred other little things, Cleveland seems like it might not make it to the NBA Finals for the first time since LeBron James returned to the organization in 2014.
This has led to some brutal basketball: Cleveland is 3-7 over its last 10 games and 5-8 this month. It might just be the midseason slide that seems to always happen to the Cavs, or it might be a sign of a much bigger problem.
But either way, the annual midseason slide means another annual occurrence in Cleveland has returned: James posting some oddly cryptic stuff to social media that sure as heck sounds like he’s calling out someone (or some people) within the organization. This time, the best player in the world took to Instagram and made this his Instagram Story.

Seeing as how the Cavs lost 125-114 to a Detroit team that doesn’t have Blake Griffin yet on Tuesday night, the timing on James tossing this on Instagram is certainly interesting. But who knows, maybe he was mad at his kids for not doing their chores, or he thought his personal chef mailed it in on breakfast this morning. Or maybe it’s about the Cavaliers. Who knows?
