Matthew Dellavedova Celebrated Cleveland’s Championship By Riding Roller Coasters All Alone

Matthew Dellavedova has caught a lot of guff in his NBA life. And, the way some people feel about his perceived dirty play, hey, maybe he deserves most of it.

But it’s hard to hate on how he’s celebrating his Cleveland Cavaliers’ stunning title against the Golden State Warriors, though. Glimpses of the Australian guard enjoying himself at iconic Ohio amusement park Cedar Point have begun to surface on social media, and they are very chuckle-worthy. Not least of all because he appears to be doing it all alone.

This, of course, after his beverage of choice at a high-line club in Vegas, right after a Game 7 victory, was Corona out of a can.

Usually, the Dellavedova spirit means playing so far beyond accepted etiquette that you’re endangering those around you. Today, though, it means doing you in solitude, and enjoying yourself how you want. We could all use a little more of that. Whether you’ve got a Larry O’Brien trophy to toss over your shoulder or not, try to get out to the park by your lonesome this week, and smile to yourself as you realize you’re living like a champion does.

Dellavedova’s contribution in the Finals was minimal, as he averaged just 7.7 minutes through the series, and wasn’t asked to hound Steph Curry as he did in the previous season’s title round. Now he’s making up for all that with a bounty of good vibes.
