Nelly only wants Jeremy Lin for his pimp juice.
After the Hornets point guard, who has gone from Linsanity to Linconsequential over the past four years, dropped 29 points in a home upset of the Spurs on Monday night, the hip-hop artist and Charlotte part-owner wanted in on the action.
Lin was getting hot in herre. Obviously, Nelly knew what to do when he jumped behind him in a postgame interview after Lin’s always comfortable ice water bath.
Nelly may be a St. Louis native and a rep of the STL for other sports (he’s an active Cardinals and University of Missouri fan), but his hometown doesn’t have a basketball team. So, we’ll give him a pass on being this invested in another city’s team for this long.
We know he’s a sports fan. He’s participated in the NBA’s Celebrity Game over All-Star Weekend in the past, has been cast in Adam Sandler’s “The Longest Yard” as a shifty running back, and was actually an amateur baseball player at one point.
Now, he’s a pro photo bomber, too.
