The thought of Shaun Livingston dunking on Richard Jefferson in, say, 2004 isn’t too far out there. But 12 years later – after Livingston’s horrific knee injury and Jefferson’s time spent as an NBA journeyman – it’s kind of crazy to think of that ever going down nowadays. It’s especially crazy if you go “hey, I bet that’s a thing that could happen in the NBA Finals.”
But by god, did Shaun Livingston dunk all over Richard Jefferson in Game 5 of the NBA Finals. It was incredible, and like everything that involves Livingston, it made all of us so happy to see a dude who has been through so much in his career pull off something like this. As for Jefferson, well, he got put on a poster, but he’s done that to plenty of dudes in his career, so he can be on the other end of one for once.
