Here’s Steph Curry Getting Getting Drenched By Draymond Green After Dropping 51

Stephen Curry is the darling of the NBA and his 51 points in our nation’s capitol — after 25 in the first — was just the latest in a string of scorching performances this year. The 2015 NBA MVP is even better this season, and on top of his team’s NBA-leading and history-in-the-making 45-4 record through the season’s first 49 games, his favorite team is playing in the Super Bowl on Sunday.

So after Draymond Green dunked some water on his head during his on-court interview Wednesday night at the Verizon Center, he of course alluded to his team’s impending matchup on Sunday:

“I hope that’s what Ron Rivera gets in about four days.”

He’s talking about Panthers coach, Ron Rivera, and the propensity for teams to give their coach a post-Super Bowl Gatorade bath when the team has clinched a victory.

If his Panthers are anything like one of their most famous fans, Ron will. While Steph’s spontaneous combustion on the court in the opening period was impressive, and we all know about his infamous warmup shot from the tunnel and his almost banal flick of the wrist from 30 feet as he’s getting loose, he showed us another ridiculous moment before his explosion against the Wizards.

So here’s another highlight to add to the Steph mythos — the impossibly high-arcing rainbow.
