Watch Steph Curry Catch Fire For 17 Points In Under Three Minutes Of Play

After one quarter on Monday night, Stephen Curry had a stat line that we’re not used to seeing out of him: 0 points on 0-for-4 shooting. It’s the first time all year that Curry was held scoreless after one quarter, and according to ESPN, it’s the first time that Curry has put up a goose egg after the game’s first frame since March 16.

After two quarters on Monday night, Curry totally made up for his poor opening frame, scoring 17 points in a three minute span before halftime.

It was the perfect example of what makes Curry so special.

It took the reigning MVP until there was 3:15 remaining in the second quarter to score for the first time, and once he saw the ball go in the hoop, he couldn’t miss. He ended up going 6-for-6 over his hot streak, including 5-for-5 from three.

Right now, Curry is the best offensive basketball player on earth, because no one else is capable of doing things like this in such a short period of time.
