Steph Curry Busted Out This Never-Before-Seen Move During The Warriors’ First Practice

Steph Curry is probably already the best three-point shooter of all-time. After two consecutive years of shattering his own season-long records, it’s hard to argue that point. He’s up there with a truly elite group of long-range specialists throughout NBA history, but what makes Curry so unique is his ability to create his own shot with defenders draped all over him.

That’s because he also has some of the best handles in the league. Conventional wisdom says that players need to add something new to their repertoire every season, and if the above video is any indication, it appears Curry has figured out a brand new way to cook his opponents and free himself up for an open look.

At a glance, it appears to be a bit of a variation on a move Tracy McGrady put on Shaun Livingston back in the day.

T-Mac’s move, likewise, was a riff on something fictional basketball star Kyle Watson made famous in Above the Rim back in the 90s.

Curry’s new move might be a little tricky in terms of pulling it off in an actual game, but it certainly wouldn’t be the most outrageous thing he’s done to an opponent.
