At the end of the third quarter of the Grizzlies-Timberwolves game Friday night, Vince Carter took an inbounds pass and drained a nearly full-court heave to beat the buzzer and bring his team within striking distance. It was eerily reminiscent of the 60-foot buzzer-beater he sunk against the Hawks back in late November. Memphis went on to win 109-104, and the 39-year-old Carter finished with a season-high 15 points.
