James Harden Faces Off Against Himself In Travis Scott’s Trippy ‘Way Back’ Video

Travis Scott’s music videos have a habit of getting a little bit crazy. His latest for the song “Way Back” is no different. The video calls back to his Houston roots and heavily features the Rockets’ guard James Harden in the starring role. “I did this for a project I did in Houston a while ago,” Travis wrote on Twitter.

The trippy video opens with Harden sprawled out and watching coverage on multiple televisions. There’s even footage from Lil B’s famous ESPN appearance from back in 2015 where he discussed his curse on the NBA star. Things only get stranger from there as Harden hits the court and faces off against himself in a game of one-on-one, before the scene changes again, showing him hanging upside down and rapping out Travis’s words. It all ends with La Flame kicked back in the backseat of a classic convertible driven by a small child.

“Way Back” becomes the fourth song off La Flame’s most recent album Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight. Over the last few months, he also shared visuals for the songs “Goosebumps,” “Pick Up the Phone,” and “Beibs in the Trap.”
