Best friends are a great thing to have. Most people find them in high school and college and keep a few for the rest of their lives. Others find them in different careers along the way and forge new relationships at different stages. But sometimes life gets busy and making new friends can be difficult. After all, who has the free time to just “hang out in coffee shops” or “try new things with new people.” Any girl with a full-time job and access to a Netflix account could tell you that’s not about to happen without a lot of effort. That’s why a new app called Hey! VINA is here to save the day by serving as a Tinder-esque option for women to find new friends with common interests. From the sounds of it, it is everything that an introverted person or overwhelmed career woman needs to chat with new people.

According to the app’s site, there are multiple purposes that it can serve. Whether that is to find just a friend, meet somebody who has had different life experiences than you, or network within your profession to expand your connections, it makes it easier to kick off a friendly relationship without putting in as much legwork. It’s like LinkedIn, except something you’ll actually end up using more than once every few months. The app kicks things off with a brief quiz so it knows how to match people and what their common interests might be. Once you’ve matched, it even suggests something to do based on your preferred activities. If nothing comes of the connection after the app has done all that work on your behalf, it’s almost like you don’t want to add new friends to your brunch crew or your The Bachelor texting group.
